Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This policy explains how ArivaCV, operated by Amit Soni, handles your personal data. We never sell your data.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, and profile photo if you sign in with Google or upload one. Optionally, a phone number you verify for referral rewards.
- Your content: the resumes, cover letters and job descriptions you add, including files you import.
- Payments: which pass you bought, the amount and the payment ID. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them.
- Usage: which AI features you use and the credits they cost, and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
- Referral source: if you arrive through a partner or referral link, we store which partner referred you.
2. Why we use it
To run your account, build and export your resumes, provide the AI features you ask for, process payments and refunds, pay partner commissions, prevent abuse, and answer your messages.
3. AI processing
When you use an AI feature, the relevant resume text and job description are sent to our AI providers, Google (Gemini) and, as a backup, Anthropic (Claude), only to produce that result.
4. Services that process your data
- Supabase: login and database (data is stored with access rules so no other user can read yours)
- Vercel: website hosting
- Razorpay: payments
- Resend: account emails such as verification and password reset
- Google: Google sign-in and AI features; Cloudflare Turnstile: bot protection on sign-up and login
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and a 30-day cookie that remembers which partner link you came from. We don't use advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your account and resumes are removed from our live systems. Encrypted backups, used only to recover from failures, may keep copies for longer; they're never used for anything else. We keep payment records as long as tax law requires.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. You can edit your details and delete your account in Settings, or email support@arivacv.com to request a copy of your data.
8. Grievance officer
Amit Soni, support@arivacv.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. More ways to reach us are on the Contact page.
9. Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes, and email you about important changes.
